Terms of Service

1. The service

Vidoveli is an online tool that finds highlights in long videos, turns them into short clips, and lets you edit, caption and export them. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use Vidoveli for a company, you agree on its behalf.

2. Your account

You sign in with your Google account or with a one-time code that we send to your email address. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your Google account and your email inbox secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use Vidoveli.

One person may hold one free account. Free credits go to one account per inbox: addresses that reach the same inbox, such as a Gmail address written with dots or with a +tag, share one free allowance. Temporary (disposable) email addresses cannot be used, and we limit how many new free accounts can be opened from one network each day. We may limit or close accounts that are created to collect free credits repeatedly.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos you bring in and to the clips you make. You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run the service for you: transcribing it, analyzing it, rendering clips and showing them to you and to anyone you share a link with.

We do not use your videos to train AI models, and we do not sell them.

When you paste a link, you ask us to fetch that video for you so we can process it in your private workspace. An imported video is kept only in your workspace: nobody else sees it unless you share a clip, and it is deleted with the project.

You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload or link to. Only bring in videos that you own or that you have permission to edit and repost.

4. Acceptable use

Please do not use Vidoveli to:

• Upload or share content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else’s copyright, privacy or other rights.
• Create content that sexualizes minors, promotes violence or harasses a person.
• Mislead people about who made a video or who appears in it.
• Probe, overload or disrupt the service, or get around usage limits.
• Resell the service or its output as a competing product.

5. AI output

Clip suggestions, scores, captions, translations and post text are produced by AI models. They can be wrong or incomplete. A clip score reflects the transcript and is not a prediction of views. Review your clips before you publish them; you are responsible for what you post.

6. Plans and credits

One credit covers one minute of video you process. Some AI tools, such as B-roll, emojis, subtitle translation and more AI clips, also use credits: each shows how many before it runs, and a run that fails or produces nothing gives them back. The Free plan includes a monthly allowance of credits that does not roll over. Paid plans are billed in advance for each month or year through our payment provider, Stripe. The price and the credits are shown on the pricing page before you pay, and credits expire at the end of the billing period they come with.

You can change your plan at any time on your Billing page. A move to a higher price starts at once: you pay the difference for the rest of the current period and receive the extra credits right away. A move to a lower price, or between monthly and yearly billing, takes effect at your next renewal.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Unless the law in your country says otherwise, payments are not refunded for a period that has already started, including when you change or cancel your plan.

Storage: on the Free plan, a project and its files are deleted 3 days after it is created. Creator includes 100 GB of storage and Business 500 GB; when your storage is full, new uploads and imports pause until you delete projects, and nothing is deleted for you. If a paid plan ends, its projects are kept for 30 days, after which the Free plan’s 3 days apply. Projects in the trash are deleted for good after 30 days. A deleted project cannot be restored, so download the clips you want to keep.

7. Stock media and third-party content

Stock footage, music and sound effects offered inside the editor may be used in the videos you make with Vidoveli. They may not be extracted and redistributed on their own. Videos you bring in from other platforms stay subject to those platforms’ terms.

Importing from a link is a convenience. A site can block it or change how it delivers video at any time, so an import can fail, arrive at a lower quality than the original, or stop working for that site. We may limit, pause or remove imports from any site. A failed import uses no credits, and you can always upload the file instead.

8. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on Vidoveli infringes your copyright, write to support@vidoveli.com with the link, a description of your work and your contact details. We remove infringing content and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Vidoveli available and your projects safe, but the service is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copy of original recordings. We may change or remove features; if a change materially reduces a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Vidoveli is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

If someone makes a claim against Vidoveli because of content you brought in or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Vidoveli at any time. To close your account, delete it on the Account page of your workspace, or write to us. Deleting your account ends a paid plan at once, without a refund for the period that has started (unless the law in your country says otherwise), and deletes your projects, their files and your unused credits. It cannot be undone.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. When an account is closed, its projects and files are deleted.

12. Changes to these terms and contact

We may update these terms as the product changes. We will post the new version here and, for important changes, tell you by email.

Vidoveli (vidoveli.com) provides the service, and “we” and “us” in these terms mean Vidoveli. Questions: support@vidoveli.com. We reply within 2 business days.
